Kathy Fusco is an Emmy-nominated writer/director based in New York City and represented globally by Hungry Man Productions. She has shot campaigns for brands like Coke, Snickers, Verizon and Xfinity.
Kathy started her career as a Talent Intern at SNL, where she learned valuable skills like how to order $200 worth of Taco Bell for Garth Brooks. After getting a taste of the fast-paced, creative environment at SNL, Kathy knew she wanted to dedicate her life to comedy. So, her next stop was the obvious choice: Court TV.
At Court TV, she honed her comedy chops writing on such subjects as homicide, cannibalism and double homicide. She produced promos for Nancy Grace and Johnnie Cochran, and also once made eye contact with O.J. Simpson, which somehow did not make it into FX’s The People v. O.J. Simpson.
After 5 years at Court TV, Kathy decided to continue her comedy journey at a less obvious place: Comedy Central, where she became the VP of Brand Creative, leading the in-house advertising team, working closely with network talent like Amy Schumer, Nick Kroll and Eric Cartman. There she wrote and directed award-winning campaigns for The Roast of Justin Bieber, South Park, Reno 911, and The Roast of Rob Lowe (for which she earned a Clio).
In 2023, Kathy directed and co-wrote her first short film Catherine & Michael (starring Molly Ringwald) which won Best Comedy Short at seven festivals including New York Short Film Festival and the Academy-qualifying New Hampshire Film Festival.
